Job description

Job Summary: We are looking for a Service Express Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong background in automotive and ASE certification or technical degree. The day-to-day duties of this role include testing check systems to ensure they are working properly, driving vehicles for test purposes and accurately diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

Pay

• Full time 40 hours per week with overtime available most weeks
• $18- $22 per hour depending on level of experience

Responsibilities

• Changing engine oil and oil filters
• Inspecting and changing air filters, wiper blades and other routine maintenance items
• Testing to check systems and components are secure and working properly
• Isolating the systems or components that might have caused the problem
• Driving the vehicle for testing purposes and inspecting and refilling fluid levels as necessary
• Ensuring tire pressure for proper inflation, cleaning and lubricating fittings as needed
• Installing a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicating oil levels to teammates
• Maintaining efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
• Repairing or replacing worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
• Using power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks

Advancement

• Available for those wishing to become Flat-Rate technicians

• We offer pre-paid Nissan factory training courses online and in person and reimburse travel expenses

Qualifications

• Being highly motivated, reliable and having a positive attitude
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred but not required)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
