Job summary

York Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Plainfield is seeking a Full-Time Express Lane Technician to perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations and fluid top-offs, in a fast-paced service department.

You will uphold safety standards and deliver quality service while communicating effectively with customers and team members. Applicants must provide their own tools, be able to lift 75 lbs, and operate shop equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Own tools required.
• Lift 75 lbs.
• Operate shop equipment safely.
• Learn basic mechanical repairs.
• Communicate with customers, sales staff and management.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Stand 8–10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance in accordance with factory guidelines.
• Oil changes, tire rotations, tire replacements, and balancing.
• Courtesy vehicle inspections, including multi-point inspections.
• Follow safety requirements and published procedures; comply with OSHA/EPA policies.
• Return vehicles clean after service or repair.
• Participate in Manufacturer Certification programs.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist in group area housekeeping.
• Communicate with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
