Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk in Lafayette, LA to ensure shelves are stocked and customers receive exceptional service. You will perform a variety of retail tasks, including stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation, while supporting leadership in daily store operations.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Move product from pallets or carts to shelf locations
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas
• Work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
