Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers in Lafayette, IN. You will support daily store operations and provide friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow established procedures while handling physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs. Overnight shifts are possible to prepare the store for the day ahead.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring

• You're comfortable learning and using basic technology

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus
