Job summary

UC Davis Health seeks a Family Medicine physician to provide direct patient care at Express Care clinics in Sacramento, Folsom or Roseville. The role offers same-day access for patients; physicians do not manage a patient panel and have minimal inbox responsibilities.

You will work with Epic EMR and AI scribe tooling (Abridge) to support clinical workflow. The position is 80–100% time with shifts Tue-Sat and varied hours.

Qualifications

• Active CA Medical License and DEA license or license eligible.
• Board certified in Family Medicine with US residency training.
• Ability to use medical terminology and health information for decisions.
• Clear communication of health concerns with patients and providers.
• Skills to manage chronic conditions and promote healthy lifestyles.
• Understand scheduling, referrals, and patient access to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care at Express Care locations (Sacramento, Folsom, Roseville).
• Work in a fast-paced outpatient setting with same-day access for patients.
• Utilize Epic EMR and AI scribe tools to support care delivery.
