Job summary

Purdy Hyundai in Broken Arrow, OK is seeking an Express Technician to support the service department by performing routine maintenance and light repair services efficiently and safely. You will contribute to a positive customer experience through timely service completion and quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes collaboration with service advisors and technicians, ongoing training, and adherence to dealership safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous automotive maintenance, technical training, or related experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, battery testing, filter replacements, and multi-point inspections.
• Complete assigned services accurately and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards.
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings appropriately.
• Assist with basic repair and maintenance services as assigned by dealership leadership.
• Conduct quality checks to help ensure services are completed properly and safely.
• Maintain productivity and efficiency standards established by dealership leadership.
• Accurately document completed work and inspection findings on repair orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and service areas.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.
• Properly handle customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service process.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors, technicians, and leadership to support operational success and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to expand technical knowledge and skills.
• Support a positive, team-oriented service department culture.
