Job summary

Grubbs Family of Dealerships is seeking an Express Technician to perform quick-service maintenance and keep the express lane moving. This role offers training and a path to grow into more advanced technician positions, with emphasis on quality and safety.

You will perform basic maintenance, document findings with photos or notes, and collaborate with service advisors to recommend needed work. A strong mechanical aptitude and reliable work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Entry-level technicians welcomed; training provided.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality.
• Own basic tools a plus (or willingness to build a set).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, filters, and light maintenance to factory specification.
• Complete thorough, honest multi-point inspections with documentation and photos/notes.
• Maintain quick turnaround times in the express lane.
• Communicate findings to service advisors for additional needed work.
• Follow safety, torque, and quality standards on every vehicle.
• Road-test vehicles when needed to confirm repairs and customer concerns.
• Keep bay, tools, and equipment clean and organized.

We’re seeking a fast, reliable Express Technician to perform quick-service maintenance and keep our express lane moving. This is a great role to build your skills and grow into more advanced technician positions — and we expect quick turnaround without ever cutting corners on quality or safety.

What You’ll Do

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, filters, and light maintenance to factory specification
• Complete thorough, honest multi-point inspections on every vehicle and document recommended services with photos or notes
• Work with speed and precision to maintain quick turnaround times in the express lane
• Communicate findings clearly and promptly to service advisors so they can present additional needed work
• Follow every safety, torque, and quality standard on every vehicle, every time
• Road-test vehicles when needed to confirm the repair and the customer’s concern
• Keep your bay, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and ready
