Job summary

Hyundai Santa Monica is seeking a motivated Express Service Technician. The role involves routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements, with opportunities to learn and advance in a busy service department.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using shop tools, document repairs, and collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow. Paid training and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an Automotive Express/Lube Technician.
• UTI or automotive trade school graduates encouraged.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Trade school certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations and filter replacements.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Document all repairs and maintenance in accordance with dealer and manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in line with standards.
