Eastchester CDJR is seeking skilled Express Lane Technicians for a full-time position in New York. The role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles, communicating with parts, and ensuring warranty parts handling per repair orders.

The shop emphasizes on-site training, safety, and comprehensive benefits. A valid driver's license is required, and NYC vaccination guidelines apply. Experience preferred but not required for recent trainees.

Qualifications

• ASE Certifications required or preferred.
• Previous Technician Training required or preferred.
• State Vehicle Inspector Certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnoses cause of malfunction and performs repair.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or per customer request.
• Examines vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
• Keeps shop area neat and clean.
• Ensures tools and manuals are maintained and accounted for.
