Qualifications

• Identify the problem quickly and communicate findings clearly.
• Solid knowledge of automobiles and systems.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED required; ASE certs preferred.
• Technical degree preferred; 1 year in service dept.

Responsibilities

• Test vehicles to ensure systems are secure and functional.
• Isolate faulty systems or components.
• Drive vehicle for testing purposes.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately.
• Use power tools and hand tools for repairs.
• Repair or replace worn parts before breakdown.
