You will work with engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems, using diagnostic tools and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive technology strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive systems (e.g., engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical).
• Strong understanding of diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using specialized diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Complete work orders accurately and efficiently, documenting all services performed and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the workshop environment.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status, repair progress, and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with automotive technology and repair techniques.
