Job summary

Austin Powder invites you to join a family-focused team in Ohio. The Booster Operator ensures safe, efficient execution of manufacturing processes in the Booster Department, handling explosive materials and operating specialized equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and at least one year of manufacturing or explosive handling experience.

Qualifications

Basic math and counting skills.
Ability to read and maintain accurate documentation.
Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to repetitively bend and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Follow all written work instructions and SOPs related to packaging and handling of explosive products.
Inspect manufactured products for accuracy and quality.
Identify and report hazards within the production area.
Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with supervisors and area leads to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Operate and maintain manufacturing vehicles as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
Perform other duties as assigned by the area lead, supervisor, or department manager.
Other duties as assigned.
