Minnetonka Public Schools seeks a caring supervisor for the Explorers program at the Minnetonka Community Education Center. The role focuses on supporting and supervising children aged 3–5 before and after school, planning activities and maintaining a safe, engaging environment.

A strong emphasis on communication with families and staff is required. Eligible for medical and dental benefits as a full-time employee (35 hrs/week) with a quarterly DHS Stabilization Grant stipend through 2026.

Qualificações

• Must meet one of the education/work experience options listed.
• Completion of required child care, first aid and CPR training prior to start.
• Ability to plan activities and supervise groups of children aged 3-5.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and guide students; lead activities and supervise assistants.
• Create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for preschoolers.
• Provide a safe, caring environment and maintain attendance records (Eleyo).
• Support students during non-school day programming and field trips.
• Build positive relationships with parents and guardians.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and maintain confidentiality.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Bachelor's Degree in an unrelated field AND three months of related experience

AA or two years of college in a related field or equivalent certificate with six months of related experience

Equivalent of one year full time work experience in childcare or two years in a different program
