Job summary

Filevine, a Legal AI company delivering Legal Operating Intelligence, seeks an Expert Team Solutions Specialist. This role develops backstop solutions and provisional configurations when out-of-the-box options don’t fit, using native capability and creative thinking to meet customer needs.

Deep product knowledge across the Filevine family is required. Responsibilities include documenting approaches, creating best-practice content, and supporting cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Transformation experience with core systems such as ERP/CRM/case management or BI.
• 2+ years Excel/SQL/API or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years Low-code / Declarative development experience.
• Assertive communicator with recommendations and confidence.
• Strong curiosity and creative problem solving to address priorities.
• Quick learner of new technologies, self-motivated.
• Ability to lead critical conversations and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Play a lead role in issue remediation with accountability for assigned issues.
• Create approaches using native capability and out-of-the-box thinking to resolve root needs.
• Document findings, share to Solutions and Expert teams.
• Create content and best practices (articles, videos, builds) for customers in lay terms.
• Provide remediation case studies to other groups (Partners, Sales Engineering, Marketing).
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge across the Filevine product family.
• Support other expert teams as needed.
• Occasional travel as necessary.

The Expert Team department is home to product experts with deep technical understanding across a range of specialized expertise. The department is focused on critical initiatives including customer support, escalated technical problem-solving, customer education, and partner enablement.

Job Summary

The Expert Team, Solutions Specialist is responsible for determining the best solution for a customer trying to accomplish an outcome that is not available out of the box. “That is not possible” is never the answer. Backstop solutions, provisional configurations, and out-of-the-box thinking are part of the job. The main expectation of this role is to create approaches that have not been used in the past; however, workarounds should not be favored when there is native capability inside of the app. Comprehensive product knowledge across the Filevine family of products is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Play a lead role in issue remediation and convey unyielding accountability for assigned issues
• Create approaches that will best solution a customer’s request, using both native capability and out of the box thinking, to resolve the root need
• Memorialize findings, share, and present to the larger Solutions slice and Expert teams
• Create portable content regarding those approaches and configurations which mature into best practices (articles, videos, example builds) and relay to customers in laymen’s terms.
• Supply remediation case studies and approaches to other groups that may benefit: Partners, Sales Engineering, Marketing, etc.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge across the Filevine family of products
• Support other expert teams and expert roles as needed
• Occasional travel, as necessary

Qualifications

• Digital transformation experience with core systems-of-record such as ERP, CRM, case management, or business intelligence
• 2+ years of Excel/SQL/API or equivalent experience
• 2+ years Low-code / Declarative development experience or equivalent experience
• Assertive communicator that can provide recommendations and instill confidence
• Exceptional curiosity and creative thinking abilities to solution the root cause of a customer’s priorities
• Quick learner of new technologies, self-motivated
• Driver of change for more impactful solutions and customer outcomes at a fast growing company
• Ability to lead critical conversations
• Organized, detail oriented, and timeline driven
• Ability to independently manage competing customer priorities and initiatives with limited structure

In addition to the qualifications listed above, we expect that our team members have the following:

• Proven ability to maintain focus, productivity, and composure in high-stress, fast-paced in-person environments.
• Must be able to work in office 5 days a week in our Sugarhouse, UT location
• Highly adaptable to working in open-office layouts while staying focused and respectful of colleagues.
• Skilled at handling high-priority Zoom calls with upset customers on short notice, using empathy and composure to resolve complex issues.

Work Location Expectation:

This position is based out of our San Francisco, Chicago, Salt Lake City or New York offices. Candidates residing in or near these metro areas are expected to work on a hybrid (2-3 days in-office/week) or fully onsite basis.
