Cruz Associates Inc. is seeking an Expert Level Database Analyst / Administrator for a position located at Fort Campbell, KY in support of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR).

The role involves managing automated databases across aviation logistical support systems, advising customers, and contributing to database architecture, performance, and security. The DBA will assist in design strategies and troubleshooting for production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of relational database management systems.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server 2008, SQL programming, stored procedures and database security.
• Basic understanding of Data Maintenance, Database Performance Tuning, and Process Improvement.
• Possesses a Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare logistical statistical data for analysis.
• Create and manage SSRS reports for multiple customers and subject areas.
• Create and manage SSIS packages for multiple databases.
• Review database design and systems integration.
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures for databases.
• Provide daily operations support for databases and database servers.
• Manage Microsoft SQL Server database systems with high data integrity and availability.
• Perform routine data queries to provide data reports for trending and analysis.
