Job summary

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking an Expert Consultant to join our CFO Excellence team. You will work on finance transformation projects, reshaping operating models, and applying advanced analytics and AI to unlock value for clients.

You will partner with CFOs and cross-functional teams to diagnose issues, design strategies, and secure buy-in for recommended changes while building your expertise within BCG. A strong consulting foundation and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in finance across topics such as finance function effectiveness, CFO advisory, FP&A, process and policy, technology, operations, organizational structure and strategy, and/or transformation.
• Previous consulting experience is required.
• Proven experience working on finance transformation programs including: operating model redesign, process re-engineering, technology enablement, shared services, finance technology, budgeting, management reporting and BI.

Responsibilities

• Join our CFO Excellence team to tackle finance operating model challenges and drive peak efficiency using analytics and AI.
• Lead end-to-end workstreams within BCG projects and collaborate with clients to gain buy-in for recommendations.
• Work closely with colleagues to deepen your expertise and deliver value across client engagements.
• Support and execute case work with a focus on transforming finance functions.
