Qualifications

• Advanced degree in EE/EECS/CS/Applied Math or related field.
• Experience developing circuit simulation engines or large-scale scientific computing.
• Strong knowledge of nonlinear equation solving, Newton-Raphson methods, and differential equation analysis.
• Deep understanding of sparse matrix algorithms and numerical linear algebra.
• Expert-level programming skills in C++ for large, maintainable software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in developing advanced circuit simulation algorithms.
• Investigate accuracy, convergence, performance, and scalability challenges.
• Develop numerical algorithms for nonlinear analysis and differential equations.
• Improve solver technologies: sparse matrices, nonlinear solvers, numerical integration.
• Explore acceleration methods: model order reduction, RC reduction, vector fitting, parallelism.
• Analyze performance to boost runtime and memory efficiency.
• Collaborate with circuit simulation, device modeling, RF, software architecture, and applications teams.
• Translate customer challenges into algorithmic solutions.
• Mentor engineers and guide software development practices.
• Drive design reviews and long-term tech direction.
