Job summary

Little Ruby’s in West Village, New York, NY is seeking experienced bartenders to join a fast-paced, hospitality-driven team. You will craft cocktails and manage bar service while engaging guests.

Requirements include at least 2 years in a high-volume NYC setting, strong knowledge of drinks, and excellent guest service. Compensation is $16.00 per hour plus tips with flexible scheduling and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in high-volume New York City restaurants or bars.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Ability to remain organized and composed during busy services.
• Positive attitude and strong team mentality.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following house recipes and service standards
• Provide warm, engaging hospitality to guests at the bar and throughout the dining room
• Maintain strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and menu offerings
• Execute service efficiently in a high-volume restaurant environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service
• Work closely with servers, barbacks, and management to ensure smooth service
• Follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties including bar setup, breakdown, and restocking
