ORAU in Aberdeen, Maryland is recruiting for a role focused on developing ANVEL and Unreal simulation environments. The chosen candidate will create and adapt simulated physical assets to support Human‑Autonomy Teaming research.
The ideal applicant will have a computer science background, be proficient in Unreal Engine, and be interested in contributing to Army-relevant research. This position is for U.S. citizens who are at least 18 years old.
The goal of this project is to develop, modify, and support ANVEL and Unreal simulation environments and scenarios for use in Human‑Autonomy Teaming research, including rapid creation and adaptation of simulated physical assets, environments, and vehicles to answer specific research questions. The ideal candidate will have experience in computer science and game or simulation development, including strong Unreal Engine programming skills, and an interest in applying these skills to Army‑relevant research questions.
