Job summary

About the Research

The goal of this project is to develop, modify, and support ANVEL and Unreal simulation environments and scenarios for use in Human‑Autonomy Teaming research, including rapid creation and adaptation of simulated physical assets, environments, and vehicles to answer specific research questions. The ideal candidate will have experience in computer science and game or simulation development, including strong Unreal Engine programming skills, and an interest in applying these skills to Army‑relevant research questions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, modify, and support ANVEL and Unreal simulation environments and scenarios.
  • Rapidly create and adapt simulated physical assets, environments, and vehicles.
  • Collaborate with the Human Research and Engineering Directorate (HRED) to translate research questions into simulation solutions for Human‑Autonomy Teaming.
Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Unreal Engine programming.
