Finger Lakes Community College is seeking a Technical Specialist - Experiential Learning and Advisory Board Liaison to advance college-wide applied learning initiatives and coordinate advisory committees across departments.

The role partners with academic units to place students in applied learning experiences, maintains robust databases, and supports career exploration outreach through presentations and events.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in arts, sciences, education, workforce development or a related field required.
• Experience in career and technical education (CTE), workforce development, experiential learning, or related career pathways.
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and oversees college-wide applied learning processes.
• Maintains database of experiential curricular resources and shares with faculty.
• Coordinates advisory committee meetings and ensures accurate minutes.
• Identifies and facilitates student placement in applied learning experiences.
• Enters data into applied learning database and ensures accuracy.
• Delivers FYE/FYS presentations on applied learning opportunities and career exploration.
• Represents FLCC at SUNY events related to Applied Learning & Internships.
• Collaborates with industry partners to sustain relationships.
