Job summary

A creative design firm is seeking an Experiential Designer to join their team. In this contract-based role, you will work collaboratively with the Creative Director to produce mock-ups and renders, support design communication with fabrication, and solve design challenges under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in experiential design, be proactive, and thrive in a remote work environment. Based in Austin, Texas is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in experiential design.
• Must be available during working hours to communicate via Slack and participate in project-related internal and external calls.
• Fully remote, allowing collaboration from anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed mock-ups and 3D renders using SketchUp to visualize design concepts.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Creative Director to produce mock-ups and renders, support design communication with the fabrication team, and ensure design concepts come to life with an innovative approach. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can meet tight deadlines to support the fabrication team. *This role is contract-based and is not a full-time position. Specific contract duration will be determined by the project.

Skills & Abilities

• Mock-Ups & Renders: Create detailed mock-ups and 3D renders using SketchUp to visualize design concepts.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director to refine design concepts and ensure alignment throughout the design process.
• Communication: Assist in coordinating with the fabrication team and maintaining clear communication channels to ensure project goals are met.
• Design Support: Contribute to the creation and adaptation of design elements that align with the overall vision and project requirements.
