Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced claims professional to manage a caseload of workers' compensation indemnity claims from inception through resolution. You will exercise independent judgment in routine and complex claims handling while following company and client guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold a related bachelor's degree (preferred), 3–5 years of experience, and strong knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred and 3–5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Must have knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey technical details.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 150–180 workers' compensation claims of moderate to complex difficulty.
• Calculate reserves and authorize payments and settlements within authority limits.
• Identify and escalate high exposure or unusual claims.
• Refer claims to defense counsel as appropriate and monitor litigation activities.
