Keystone Wood Specialties is seeking an Experienced Woodworking Machinist to join our team. You will set up, program, and operate advanced woodworking machinery, read shop drawings and diagrams, and ensure parts meet exact specifications with tight tolerances. Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a machinist or woodworking machinist in manufacturing.
• Ability to read calipers and other precision measuring equipment accurately.
• Experience with machine setup, programming, and precision operation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and optimize woodworking machinery for accurate production.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and technical diagrams.
• Use calipers and precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Update machine programs and adjust to improve quality and efficiency.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Follow procedures with focus on safety and quality.

Keystone Wood Specialties is looking for an Experienced Woodworking Machinist to join our team. We are seeking a highly skilled individual who is detail-oriented, takes pride in precision work, and has the technical expertise to set up and operate advanced woodworking machinery.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek with three-day weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and optimize woodworking machinery for accurate, efficient production.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, and technical diagrams.
• Use calipers and precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances.
• Update machine programs and make adjustments to improve quality and efficiency.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Follow established procedures consistently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot production issues.

Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• Experience operating a moulder
• Experience in reading drawings and specification sheets
• Strong attention to detail
• Shows pride in their work
• Knowledge of wood specifies is a plus
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and company quality standards.
