Hollywood Casino St. Louis is hiring an experienced Wok Cook to prepare Asian dishes and ensure high-quality, timely service. The position requires attention to sanitation, proper cooking methods, and teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will work 5:00 pm to 1:30 am, with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. The role offers benefits and opportunities within a large entertainment complex.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years of experience in high-volume food service/preparation preferred (Asian cuisine preferred).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment essential.

• Demonstrates knowledge of product handling to maintain quality, security, and integrity of perishables.
• Oversees proper care, storage, use and cleaning of all tools and equipment.

As an Experienced Wok Cook, you will:

Pay: $21.00 per hour | Shift: 5:00 pm - 1:30 am

• Prepares food items as directed, ensuring each order sent out is uniform and consistent.
• Prepares food, including hot entrees for our Asian dishes, to specification in an accurate and timely manner to provide guests with a quality product.
• Controls food production to include proper cooking methods, cooking time and temperature, ensuring sanitation, handling and storage of prepared food and Prepares leftovers.
• Demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and integrity.
• Oversees proper care, storage, use and cleaning of all tools and equipment.
• Demonstrates competent product knowledge by correct storing and handling of all perishables, maintaining quality, security, value and integrity.
• Effectively communicates with other team members, including service and kitchen maintenance personnel.
• Maintains assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with department service standards and job functions.

• Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum 1-2 years previous experience in high volume food service operation/preparation is preferred (Asian Cuisine preferred).
• Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Must have knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and/or entire shift.
• Be able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
