Job summary

West Shore Home is hiring a Lead Window & Door Installer in Boston, MA, with a Monday–Friday 6:30 AM start. You will lead end-to-end installation projects, remove old openings, and install high‑quality replacements while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in window installation, door installation, carpentry, remodeling, construction, or residential installation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Valid smartphone or smart device for required systems and two‑factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Lead window and door installation projects from start to finish.
• Load your truck and materials at the warehouse before heading to the job.
• Arrive at the customer’s home on time and represent West Shore Home professionally.
• Safely remove existing windows and doors while protecting the customer’s home.
• Prepare openings for new window and door installations.
• Install replacement windows and doors according to company specifications and quality standards.
• Complete carpentry, trim, flashing, insulation, sealing, and finishing work.
• Ensure installations are weather-tight, level, square, and secure.
• Identify and solve jobsite challenges when conditions don’t go as planned.
• Keep the jobsite clean and treat the customer’s home with respect.
• Communicate professionally with customers throughout the installation.
• Complete required paperwork and project closeout.

At West Shore Home, you’ll lead professional window and door installation projects from start to finish—removing existing windows and doors, preparing openings, and installing high-quality replacement windows and doors.

What’s In It For You

• $23–$28/hour, based on your experience and skill level
• $2,000 sign-on bonus — $1,000 after 30 days and $1,000 after 90 days
• Overtime at 1.5x your regular rate

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Installer, you’re not just installing a window or door—you’re the professional the customer trusts to improve their home.

You’ll

• Lead window and door installation projects from start to finish
• Load your truck and materials at the warehouse before heading to the job
• Arrive at the customer’s home on time and represent West Shore Home professionally
• Safely remove existing windows and doors while protecting the customer’s home
• Prepare openings for new window and door installations
• Install replacement windows and doors according to company specifications and quality standards
• Complete necessary carpentry, trim, flashing, insulation, sealing, and finishing work
• Ensure installations are properly sealed, weather-tight, level, square, and secure
• Identify and solve jobsite challenges when existing conditions don’t go exactly according to plan
• Keep the jobsite clean and treat the customer’s home with respect
• Communicate professionally with customers throughout the installation
• Complete required paperwork and project closeout
• Return to the warehouse at the end of the day

We’re Looking for Experienced Pros

You don’t need to be taught how to swing a hammer or measure a rough opening.

We’re looking for someone who already has hands‑on experience in window installation, door installation, carpentry, remodeling, construction, or residential installation and can take ownership of a project.

You Should Be Comfortable

• Working independently and making sound decisions in the field
• Accurately measuring openings and working from installation specifications
• Working with hand and power tools
• Performing demolition and residential remodeling
• Installing and finishing windows and doors
• Completing carpentry, trim, insulation, sealing, and related finish work
• Solving problems when existing conditions don’t exactly match the plan
• Communicating professionally with homeowners
• Taking pride in the quality of your finished work
