Job summary

RUI Restoration in Lenexa, KS is seeking an experienced Water Mitigation Technician to join our team. You will lead water mitigation projects from initial response through completion, handling emergency losses, assessing damage, and coordinating with homeowners and insurers.

The ideal candidate holds an IICRC WRT certification, has at least five years as a lead technician, a valid driver's license, and is comfortable working with TPAs and following documented processes to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• IICRC WRT Certified status required.
• Clean MVR on file.
• Valid driver's license required.
• At least 5 years of lead technician experience.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• TPA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead water mitigation projects from initial response through completion.
• Respond to emergency water losses and assess the extent and source of damage.
• Perform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, drying, and remediation according to industry standards.
• Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment based on moisture readings and job conditions.
• Perform thorough moisture inspections and document findings.
• Develop and maintain accurate drying plans, moisture maps, equipment logs, and job documentation.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, insurance representatives, and other involved parties.
• Work with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and follow required processes and documentation standards.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining RUI\'s standards for quality and customer service.
• Assist with emergency response and after-hours calls as needed.
