Job summary

Rexel USA in Loveland, CO is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to efficiently fill customer orders, receive and stock materials, and prepare shipments. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and productivity while maintaining branch warehouse operations.

The position excludes deliveries and offers a pathway to develop warehouse skills. Key responsibilities include receiving goods, stocking, packing, inventory counts, and operating equipment such as a forklift when required.

Qualifications

• No experience required
• Prior warehouse experience a plus
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred
• High School or GED - Preferred
• General knowledge of electrical products a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers
• Ability to handle basic issues and problems
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately complete job tasks
• Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and address safety concerns
• Receive material coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses and verify the quantity and description of materials received
• Keep incoming orders stocked on shelves orderly and in designated area and report freight damage claims
• Prepare branch orders from the warehouse and ensure that the correct number and type of product is being shipped
• Process paperwork regarding shipments including verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct and labeled
• Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine when required
• Load common carrier and company vehicles
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment
• Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• May be required to perform other job functions within a branch including counter sales and customer support
• Perform other duties as assigned
