Job summary

TemPositions Eden Hospitality in New York is seeking reliable waitstaff with at least two years of hospitality experience to support corporate and university dining and catering operations during the busy season.

You will follow company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and adapt to a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent service to clients and guests at conferences, banquets, and receptions.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related hospitality experience.
• Unexpired alcohol awareness training certificate (TIPS or ASC preferred).
• 2 professional references related to waiter/waitress experience.
• Dress code: black pants, plain black belt, plain black collared shirt, plain black tie and black shoes.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Excellent communication and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Follow TemPositions Policies & Procedures regarding company processes and on-site etiquette.
• Report to all assignments on time and in correct uniform.
• Maintain a professional appearance; garments must be clean, crisp, and well groomed.
• Confirm position and duties before accepting assignments to ensure a fit for you.
• Communicate effectively with clients, guests, and co-workers; follow the captain's directions.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events (may include side work).
• Exercise good judgement and know when to take initiative.
