Core Responsibilities

• Technical proficiency in friendly or fear-free patient handling
• Accurately triaging patients
• Administering medications, vaccines and other treatments
• Providing post-operative care to patient
• Performing basic wound care
• Venipuncture
• Assisting with surgical and dental procedures
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Properly collecting and preparing samples for submission to outside laboratories or in-house testing
• Preparing surgical instruments and supplies
• Cleaning, maintaining, and preparing medical equipment
• Feeding and hydrating patients as needed
• Accurately handling and recording controlled substances
• Knowledge of veterinary medical pharmacology and terminology

Job Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of hands‑on veterinary technician experience.
• You will be working in a progressive and fast-paced environment, must be a positive team player and excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be well-versed in animal restraint.
• Flexible schedule (Five 8 hour shifts or Four 10 hour shifts available)
