ENGLEWOOD VETERINARY CENTER in Englewood, NJ is seeking a veterinary technician to work closely with the veterinarian on a wide range of clinical cases. You will help with patient care, client communication, and supporting procedures in a busy, no overnight shifts environment.

Experience in a veterinary setting is required; training will be provided for areas based on your skills and independence. Pay starts at $35+ per hour, with compensation depending on experience and skills.

Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital or clinical animal-care setting is required.

Pay: $35+ per hour, based on veterinary experience, demonstrated technical skills, and level of independence.

• Experience safely handling and restraining dogs and cats
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and team members
• Good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to follow medical instructions accurately
• Dependability, punctuality, and a professional attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment and manage multiple responsibilities
• Willingness to assist with both clinical and client-service responsibilities as needed Experience with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiography, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, laboratory procedures, and surgical assistance is highly valued. Candidates do not need to be proficient in every area; training can be provided based on experience and demonstrated ability.
