Job summary

All Creatures Veterinary is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians and the medical team in delivering high-quality care and exceptional client experiences. This role offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment with opportunities to grow skills in a supportive team.

You'll perform exams, administer meds, assist with surgeries, monitor patients, educate pet owners, and help with clinic operations in a collaborative setting that values compassion and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or similar professional environment.
• Technical skills: Familiarity with animal physiology and safe handling techniques for small animals and/or exotics.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Perform catheterization and assist with laboratory diagnostic testing.
• Monitor patient vital signs, behavior, and overall condition, reporting changes promptly.
• Maintain a clean, decluttered, organized, and safe clinical environment by sanitizing equipment and work areas.
• Safely and compassionately handle and restrain animals during exams and treatments.
• Educate pet owners on proper care, medication administration, and our veterinarian's recommendations.
• Support clinic operations with additional administrative duties as needed.
