Noah's Animal Hospitals in Indianapolis is seekingRegistered Veterinary Technicians with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our emergency and specialty care teams. This credentialed role offers flexible scheduling (12s, 10s, 7s shifts), day, swing or night options, and a career growth path within our multi-level development program.
You will work with veterinarians and support staff to deliver high-quality care, think critically, and advocate for patients.
Qualifikationen
- Minimum 3 years experience as veterinary technician/assistant.
- RV/TCT preferred; emergency/ICU experience preferred.
- Ability to perform venipuncture, radiographs and patient monitoring.
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to ongoing development.
Aufgaben
- Provide veterinary nursing and hospitalized-patient care.
- Assist with anesthesia and analgesia; perioperative care.
- Perform venipuncture, IV placement, meds and fluid administration.
- Maintain medical records and document patient progress.
- Operate radiography equipment and basic diagnostics.
- Support post-surgical care and client education.

As an RVT, your responsibilities may include veterinary nursing and hospitalized-patient care; anesthesia and analgesia; perioperative nursing; medication and fluid administration; venous access and specimen collection; laboratory diagnostics; diagnostic imaging; dentistry; emergency and critical care; transfusion medicine; client education; medical documentation; and other advanced nursing responsibilities appropriate to your training, competency, and assigned practice.

- At least 1 year of experience (preferred) - time spent in a formal veterinary nursing/technician program will also be considered
- Registered, Licensed or Certified Veterinary Technician/Assistant (preferred) (RVT, LVT, CVT/CVA)
- Emergency, ICU, GP experience (preferred)
- Experience in the following skills: Venipuncture, Restraint, IV Catheter Placement, Assessing Vitals, Medical Record Notation, Intubation/Extubation, Monitoring Under Anesthesia, Minor Drug Calculations, Dentistry, Radiographs, post-surgical care, Fecal flotation and interpreting results
