Job summary

Global Earthwork + Underground is seeking an experienced Underground Utility Operator in Lincoln to operate heavy equipment for excavating, installing, and maintaining underground water, sewer and stormwater utilities.

The role requires knowledge of excavation techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols, with a pay rate of $32.00–$35.00 per hour based on experience. OSHA 10 and related safety certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience preferred.
• Proficient in operating heavy machinery and related controls.
• Strong understanding of trench safety and excavation practices.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, trenchers, loaders to excavate, grade, and backfill trenches for utility installations.
• Assist in installation of underground utilities, including pipes and conduits.
