Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years minimum working as a tool and die or gauge maker.
• Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, and grinders.
• Must own a full set of machinist tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, construct, alter and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges.
• Determine metal flow in dies, make tool try-outs, diagnose and correct problems.
• Train, advise and direct other employees when necessary.
