Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Inc. is seeking Experienced Tax Preparers to join our team in South Carolina locations including Summerville. You will use your tax knowledge to prepare individual, trust, and partnership returns in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Role offers flexible schedules, competitive pay, and opportunities for training and advancement within the organization. Local franchise locations in N. Charleston, W. Ashley, Hanahan, Summerville, and Goose Creek are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to connect with clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self-starter capable of working independently or with a team.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service to tax clients.
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, trusts, and/or partnerships.
• Utilize tax software to complete filings accurately and on time.
• Stay compliant with tax laws and continuing education requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service.
