Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Inc. is seeking experienced tax preparers to join a team offering flexible schedules and a focus on client service. You will leverage your tax expertise to assist clients with individual, trust, and partnership returns in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of tax return experience (individual, trust and/or partnership).
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn.
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping or taxes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual, trust, and partnership returns.
• Provide exceptional client service and build relationships.
• Explain tax requirements and respond to client questions.
• Keep up-to-date with tax law changes and training.
• Collaborate with team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
