Job summary

Jackson Hewitt is seeking Experienced Tax Preparers to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You will deliver exceptional client service while leveraging your tax knowledge to prepare returns accurately and efficiently.

We offer flexible schedules, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive, collaborative culture. Prior experience with individual and small business taxes is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of prior experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
• Customer service mindset and client-focused approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Basic computer and software skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to tax laws.
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping or taxes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, trust, and partnership tax returns with accuracy.
• Provide exceptional client service and respond to client inquiries promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of client information.
• Assist with tax planning and education for clients when appropriate.
