Job summary

Jackson Hewitt - EMR in Baton Rouge is seeking Experienced Tax Preparers for a seasonal opportunity with flexible schedules and a chance to earn bonuses. You will prepare individual, trust, and partnership returns, deliver excellent client service, and grow your tax expertise in a busy environment.

eligible candidates can receive a $150 sign-on bonus and participate in training, benefits and advancement opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
• Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or taxes.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service during tax season.
• Assist clients with individual, trust, and/or partnership tax returns.
• Learn tax laws and utilize tax software.
• Support a fast-paced work environment and teamwork.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
