Job summary

ResourceMFG in Rogers, MN is seeking an Experienced Submittal Drafter to join our architectural metal products team. You will use AutoCAD to create submittal drawings for review by customers and architects, and collaborate with project teams to capture design intent.

The ideal candidate has hands-on AutoCAD experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple drawings and deadlines while supporting project managers with revisions, RFIs, and detail development.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2015 or newer.
• Previous Submittal Drafting experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate architectural submittal drawings using AutoCAD.
• Analyze project documents and convey design intent.
• Assist Project Managers with drawing revisions, sketches, RFIs, and details.
• Review drawings from other drafters for quality and accuracy.
• Complete projects on time and within established timelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experienced Submittal Drafter

Location: Rogers, MN
Shift: Monday-Friday | 6:00AM-2:30PM
Pay: $25-$35/hour DOE
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an Experienced Submittal Drafter to join a growing team specializing in architectural metal products. This role is ideal for someone with strong AutoCAD experience who enjoys collaborating with project teams and producing accurate, detailed architectural drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD (2015 or newer) to create accurate architectural submittal drawings for customer and architect review.
• Analyze project documents and develop detailed drawings that accurately convey project scope and design intent.
• Assist Project Managers with:
  • Drawing revisions and updates
  • Sketch creation
  • RFIs (Requests for Information)
  • Development of details for unique job conditions
  • Revisions based on field measurements
• Review drawings completed by other drafters to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Complete projects accurately and within established timelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
