Primary Responsibilities:

PMA is looking for a structural engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience of commercial building analysis and design. The position requires a desire to continue to expand experience and knowledge within design and detailing projects in wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and light gauge. The role will be under direct supervision of a licensed engineer and mentor to work on projects from schematic design through construction administration. The role includes design engineering, problem solving, detailing, and communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program.
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE)
• Licensed engineer (PE or SE) not required, but a goal to work toward.
• Strong drive to expand knowledge and experience.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
