Intelliforce-IT Solutions Group in the United States is seeking a Mission Analytics Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate analytics across streaming and batch data environments for mission-focused users.

You will work with engineers, mission teams, and stakeholders to translate analytic needs into robust software solutions, addressing performance, scalability, and reliability to deliver mission-ready capabilities with real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 14 years of Software Engineering experience in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• 3 years of cloud experience with distributed, scalable big data stores and related tools.

• Design, develop, and enhance software supporting mission analytics across streaming and batch data environments.

Mission Analytics Software Engineer

Here's What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

• Design, develop, and enhance software supporting mission analytics across streaming and batch data environments.
• Build or improve capabilities that help analysts connect knowledge, behaviors, and scenarios across multiple SIGINT mediums.
• Integrate analytic services into larger mission products used by front-line analysts.
• Work with engineers, system stakeholders, and mission teams to translate analytic needs into usable software solutions.
• Troubleshoot defects, improve performance, and help ensure mission capabilities remain accurate, scalable, and reliable.
• Support software testing, validation, and documentation to keep capabilities production-ready.
• Contribute to the design of systems handling complex data flows, large data sets, and time-sensitive analytic outputs.
• Help improve how analytic components interact with databases, repositories, and downstream mission workflows.
• Minimum Qualifications:
• Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
• Experience: 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four additional years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Additional Experience: 3 years of demonstrated cloud experience with distributed, scalable big data stores such as HBase, CloudBase or Accumulo, BigTable, or similar technologies. Experience with MapReduce tools such as Hadoop, Hive, or Pig. Experience with HDFS. Experience with serialization methods such as JSON or BSON.
• Required Skills
• Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems in mission-focused environments.
• Experience working with large data sets, analytic workflows, or processing-intensive applications.
• Ability to design and code new software or modify existing software to add features and improve performance.
• Experience debugging software issues and resolving defects in operational environments.
• Experience integrating software into new or modified systems and operating environments.
• Experience working with databases, repositories, or data-driven analytic systems.
• Ability to support software testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of development standards.
• Experience collaborating with system engineers, mission stakeholders, and multidisciplinary technical teams.

• Experience supporting analytic development for streaming or batch data environments.
• Experience building capabilities tied to SIGINT, intelligence analysis, or data correlation use cases.
• Experience with cloud and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, HDFS, HBase, Accumulo, JSON, or BSON.
• Experience improving system performance, scalability, and reliability in data-heavy environments.
• Strong communication, debugging, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment and contribute across the full software lifecycle.

Compensation Range: $176,000.00 - $226,000.00

This salary range reflects our current market estimate for the role. Final compensation will depend on your experience, technical background, overall qualifications, and alignment with the position.
