Job summary

Securitas USA in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Experienced Security Officer to join our full-time team. You will help maintain a safe environment by monitoring premises, managing access control, patrolling sites, and responding to incidents with professional judgment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, an AZ Guard Card, and strong customer service skills. You will work with client employees and visitors, follow post orders, and use security technology to keep people and property secure.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AZ Guard Card required.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work with a team.
• Ability to work independently and stay calm in stressful situations.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.
• Prior security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazards, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
