Franklin Yard is seeking an experienced SAT and ACT tutor to join our small team of expert educators. Join us to make an impact on our students that will last a lifetime!

At Franklin Yard, you will have opportunities to provide instruction to students on an individual or group basis. We are primarily a virtual tutoring company; however, we are currently only hiring tutors who reside in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

Create dynamic, engaging lessons for students in either a class format or 1:1 setting
Design and implement lesson plans for varying levels of content knowledge and test prep experience
Establish goals and milestones with students
Document and communicate periodic progress reports
Provide constructive feedback for students

Experience Required

Previous experience (2+ years) and success with SAT and ACT tutoring
Sufficient knowledge of core content areas and test taking strategies for both SAT and ACT
Demonstrated ability to score >95th percentile on current SAT/ACT exams (qualifying test will be administered as part of the interview process)
Ability to build rapport with students and parents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be responsive and conscientious in all communication, internal or external
