OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for the PACU in the Surgery Center. The RN I/II/III levels depend on experience, education, and other qualifications. The role includes direct patient care in a hospital setting, adherence to OU Health values, and collaboration with physicians and support staff.
Qualified candidates have nursing degrees and an active RN license; BSN preferred for higher levels. A sign-on bonus, student loan repayment, and relocation assistance may be offered.

This position may be filled as an RN Level 1, 2, or 3, depending on individual experience, education, and other qualifications.
Full-Time 8:00am-5:30pm
An OU Health Registered Nurse (RN) I works under general supervision, providing the highest quality of care to patients in a hospital setting with health problems ranging from simple to complex. They model the OU Health Way, as evident in their work output and interactions with employees and patients, through living OU Health’s core values of putting Patients First, pursuing Relentless Excellence, showing Integrity, seeking Inclusion for all staff and patients, always Learning, and valuing Teamwork. RN I represents the nurse who is a novice or an advanced beginner advancing to competent. While advancing from novice to competent, the nurse relies on rules rather than principles which are independent of specific situations. The advanced beginner may have enough real experience to begin to formulate principles.
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience: 0-3 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute operating room environment or employees with less than one (1) year of acute operating room experience may substitute experience with the completion of department orientation or completion of RN residency program.
License/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse License (RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact Registered Nurse (eNLC)).
Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire.
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse required.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute operating room environment or employees with less than one (1) year of acute operating room experience may substitute experience with the completion of department orientation or completion of RN residency program.
License/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse License (RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact Registered Nurse (eNLC)).
Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in patient care as a Registered Nurse required.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute operating room environment or employees with less than one (1) year of acute operating room experience may substitute experience with the completion of department orientation or completion of RN residency program.
License/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse License (RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact Registered Nurse (eNLC)).
Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification required upon hire.
Specialty certification(s) preferred.
