Job summary

Penn Medicine's HUP Emergency Department Observation Unit is seeking an experienced RN to join our fast-paced team. The position features three 12-hour shifts (7p-7a) with an every-third-weekend requirement, working within a 27-bed unit that provides short-stay care and continuous monitoring for diverse patient populations.

The Clinical Nurse 2 Colleague will practice as a full partner on the health care team, providing patient care and exhibiting competencies in CQI, evidence-based practice,

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active PA RN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification as a healthcare provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within the ED Observation Unit.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to monitor and treat patients.
• Demonstrate leadership and safe practice across the care continuum.
• Adhere to quality improvement, safety, and informatics guidelines.
