About BetterBath

BetterBath is a residential remodeling company specializing in high-quality bathroom renovations throughout Central Oregon. We have built our reputation on craftsmanship, reliability, and providing an exceptional experience for our customers.

We're continuing to grow and are looking for an Experienced Remodel Crew Member who already has a solid foundation in residential construction and wants to continue developing their skills as a well-rounded remodeler.

You don't need to know everything—we're looking for someone who knows how to work, understands construction, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and wants to keep getting better.

Our motto: Don't Settle for Good. Choose Better.

The Position

This is a hands‑on remodeling position working as part of one of our crews on residential bathroom renovation projects. Unlike a position focused on performing the same task every day, remodeling requires versatility. You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple phases of construction while developing your skills in areas such as demolition, framing, carpentry, waterproofing, shower and tub systems, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim, fixture installation, and finish work.

We're looking for someone who can contribute from day one while also being willing to learn BetterBath's systems, products, and workmanship standards.

The right candidate will be someone who takes pride in doing things correctly, communicates well, accepts direction and feedback, and wants to grow into becoming a Better remodeler.

Responsibilities
  • Perform hands‑on residential remodeling and construction work.
  • Work directly with other crew members, Crew Leads, and the Project Manager to complete projects according to scope, schedule, and BetterBath workmanship standards.
  • Assist with demolition, framing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim, waterproofing, shower and tub installations, and other finish work.
  • Properly use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
  • Help manage jobsite materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Identify potential problems and communicate them to the appropriate team members before they become larger issues.
  • Follow established installation procedures and manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Work respectfully inside customers' homes and help provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Participate in company and crew meetings and communicate effectively with other members of the production team.
What We're Looking For:

We're not necessarily looking for someone who has mastered every aspect of remodeling. We are looking for someone with real residential construction experience and a strong foundation who wants to continue honing their skills.

What Success Looks Like

A successful crew member at BetterBath isn't simply someone who can swing a hammer.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Takes ownership. You care about the finished product and don't walk past problems.
  • Takes pride in craftsmanship. You understand that details matter, particularly when working inside someone's home.
  • Is coachable. You're comfortable receiving feedback and interested in improving your skills.
  • Thinks ahead. As your experience grows, you anticipate what needs to happen next rather than always waiting to be told.
  • Is dependable. Your crew can count on you to show up prepared and ready to contribute.
  • Respect the customer. You understand that we're not simply working on a construction site—we're working in someone's home.
Opportunity for Advancement

We want this position to be more than just another construction job. For the right individual, there is a clear opportunity to become—or develop toward becoming—a BetterBath Crew Lead. As you demonstrate technical proficiency, reliability, initiative, communication, and leadership, you'll have opportunities to take greater ownership of portions of projects, help train newer crew members, learn project sequencing and planning, and develop the skills necessary to eventually manage a project and crew. Advancement is based on demonstrated ability rather than simply time with the company. Our goal is to help the right person progress from being a strong remodel crew member to someone capable of taking ownership of an entire project—from mobilization through completion.
