A dynamic landscape architecture firm is seeking an experienced project manager to enhance their Boston office. The individual will collaborate on urban landscape and resiliency projects, requiring strong communication and project management skills. Candidates must hold a relevant degree and have extensive experience in the field, along with proficiency in design software like AutoCAD. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a creative and collaborative studio environment, focused on high-quality design and impactful projects.
We're looking for an experienced project manager to join our Boston office.
Candidates will work directly with Directors on complex urban landscape and resiliency projects, and will help organize internal project teams and external coordination with client and subconsultant teams. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated individual who is willing to take on responsibility and respond to challenges on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for the built environment and urban landscapes and enjoy working in a collaborative studio environment.
Requirements:
- MLA, BLA, MArch or BArch required
- 5 to 12 years of experience in a professional office
- Excellent project management skills and/or experience through the construction documentation and construction phases of projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational capacity
- Excellent 3D and 2D design skills with proven proficiency in AutoCAD and potentially other 2D, 3D, and graphic programs (tailored to experience level)
- Ability to creatively problem solve and deliver clear concepts to colleagues and project managers
- Ability to smoothly manage work flow and the work of teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment with tight deadlines
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Strong work discipline with exceptional self-management skills
- Responsible, hard-working, and self-motivated
- Licensure a plus
