Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Portland, OR is seeking a Commercial Print Operator to run multiple high-speed printers, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will prepare print-ready files, adjust workflows, and collaborate with production and customer service to meet deadlines.

The role requires strong attention to detail, LEAN manufacturing awareness, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite. The shift is Monday–Friday, 7 am–4:00 pm, with benefits after hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent working experience in Commercial or Industrial Print Production & Services.
• Minimum 6 months of experience running high-speed printing equipment (Canon/OCE, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Kyocera).
• Highly physical position, regularly lift to 40lbs, stand/move/bend/sit/walk during shift.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Illustrator.
• Experience with variable data printing or mailing.
• Familiarity with color calibration or finishing equipment (bindery, cutters, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Run several large high-speed printers (Canon, Konica Minolta, and others) simultaneously to manage multiple projects.
• Maintain quality while achieving quantity goals and meeting deadlines.
• Offload prints and load materials onto the cutter, keeping materials in correct order.
• Set up, operate and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Prepare print-ready artwork and minor design edits using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Coordinate with customer service and production teams on scheduling.
