Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Registered Medical Assistant with at least 5 years of experience in Primary Care Medicine. You will provide clinical support under a physician, perform exams, document in Epic, and help coordinate patient care across multiple specialties.

The role requires strong bedside skills, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, vital signs, and the ability to triage calls while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; no experience required for entry-level.
• Ability to perform clinical procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• At least 5 years of experience in Primary Care Medicine and familiarity with Epic electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Obtain vital signs, patient histories, and accurately document in records.
• Perform clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and injections.
• Manage triage calls, relay test and lab results, and present information to providers using correct medical terminology.
