Job summary

DeVita & Associates, Inc. is seeking experienced Precast Structural Engineers to join its Precast Division. You will collaborate with project managers and coordinators as erection drawings are prepared, delivering accurate designs that meet building codes and project requirements.

The role requires 4–8 years in precast engineering, a B.S. in Engineering, and PE/S.E. licensure or EIT eligibility. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, TEKLA, and MathCAD is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-8 years precast engineering experience.
• B.S. Degree in Engineering.
• P.E. or S.E. licensure or E.I.T. eligible to sit for licensure exam.
• Energetic team player.
• Proven ability to multi-task, handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD. Revit and/or TEKLA modeling experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and MathCAD.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with project managers and coordinators as erection drawings are being prepared.
• Providing accurate and efficient lateral, component, and connection designs as required.
• Reviewing erection drawings and shop drawings for conformance with applicable building codes and project requirements.
